What is a fraction ?

Ans - A fraction represents a part of a whole.

A fraction describes  how many parts of a certain number, cake, any objects or anythings.

For Example : one-half, one-fourth etc.

A fraction has a numerator and has a denominator.

½ = one-half            

1 is numerator and 2 is denominator

¼ = one-fourth        

1 is numerator and 4 is denominator

¾ = three-fourth     

3 is your numerator and 4 is your denominator
